I always go for spout lid and this is the first time, I told myself that give it a go with a different lid. And it is so pleasure to use! It is a bit odd at the beginning, then after a couple time open and twist, I found it so handy , especially drinking with one hand, instead of holding the lid on another hand. Highly recommend to give it a try, mix the feeling with different lid.

While I would rate the spout lid as a superior lid the swing lid does have its advantages. A one piece design ensures the lid does not fall or get lost. Ideal for travel. Good for frequent sips. The carry handle is the only downside as it is a bit small and uncomfortable for two fingers grab.

The bottle was marketed as a high-quality product and was relatively expensive, which is why I chose it. Unfortunately, less than a month after purchase, the lid has already broken. Please see attached photos. My son takes very good care of his belongings. The bottle simply fell out of his school bag onto the classroom floor mat, and the lid broke from that fall. The drop was not particularly hard or severe, so I was quite surprised that the lid could not withstand such a minor incident.
